Astrocartography
The same birth moment, read as a map. Astrocartography draws the places on Earth where each planet stood on an angle when you were born.
Read inside a cast chart: you will find it in the Astrocartography panel, once a natal chart is cast.
What you get
- Lines for every planet on all four angles — rising, setting, culminating, and at the lower meridian
- The whole world mapped, with the lines drawn where they actually fall
- Relocated charts for any place you name, so the lines can be checked against a real wheel
How it works
At the moment you were born, each planet was rising somewhere on Earth, setting somewhere else, overhead at a third place and underfoot at a fourth. Join those points and you get four lines per planet running across the globe.
The claim of the technique is that a planet behaves more forcefully in the places where it was angular. Jupiter on the Midheaven line is the standard example — somewhere that tends to reward visible ambition. Saturn rising is the standard warning.
Treat the lines as a starting point rather than a verdict, and check them against a relocated chart. A line tells you a planet is strong there; the relocated chart tells you what house it has moved into and what it is now responsible for, which is usually the more useful half of the answer.
